Fr. Michael Travers Adams August 26, 1939 to October 20, 2013 Fr. Michael Adams passed away peacefully in the South Bay on October 20, 2013 after a brief illness. He was cared for in the home of the Jennings family, one of his adopted Samoan families, whose loving devotion and constant care assisted in his peaceful passing. Fr. Adams was raised in Burbank, the only son of five children born to Thelma and Milton Adams. In 1957, he and nine others from Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks joined the Brothers of Holy Cross.
