With the rise in trends of human kidnapping and tribal clashes in remote locations in the country, the Papua New Guinea National Research Institute (PNGNRI) has proposed the establishment of PNG Security and Civil Defence Corps (PNG-CDC) a security outfit to address security treats in country.
