A private van collided with a truck in Quezon province, southeast of Manila on Wednesday afternoon, killing at least one and injuring eight others, police said, APA reports citing Xinhua.
The collision occurred on the highway in Atimonan town around 2:30 p.m. local time. The van was traveling south to the Bicol region, and the truck was headed to Manila from the Bicol region.
An initial report said the private van veered to the opposite lane and collided head-on with the truck, killing the driver at the scene.
